Hellou, Olen semivegetaristi. Eli en syö lainkaan punaistalihaa, mutta syön satunnaisesti kanaa ja kalaa. Mulla on äskettäin tullut jo kaksi ja puoli vuotta täteen semivegetaristina ja ajattelin kertoa teille henkilökohtaiset syyni, miksi en syö punaistalihaa ja muita ajatuksia ylipäätään minulla on?
Oikeastaan pienestä pitäen en ollut koskaan sianlihan ystävä. En pitänyt nahasta, joita esimerkiksi kanankoivissa oli. En koskaan ole suostunut itse ottamaan niitä pois. Minä olin se perheen outo, kun en halunnut syödä kanankoipia luuhun asti. Jotenkin siis vegaaniuden löytäminen on tuntunut tosi omalta jutulta ja siitä olen iloinen.
Omat ruoan jälkeiset vatsakivut ja turvoitus ovat kadonneet. Ennen kärsin myös aika voimakkaista migreeneistä ja siihen sain vahvat lääkkeet. Migreenini on kuitenkin nyt vähentynyt aika lailla. Uskon, että punaisenlihan ja joidenkin maitotuotteiden lopettaminen yhteisvaikutuksena on muuttanut ruokavalioni terveelliseempään suuntaan. Vegaaniudella on ollut kiistämätön merkitys omaan henkilökohtaiseen hyvinvointiini, sekä jaksamiseen.
Olen mikä olen eläintenoikeuksien puolesta ja tämän maapallomme puolesta. Karjateollisuuden vaikutukset ovat tuhoisat tälle maapallolle ja tuntuu hyvältä, kun en osallistu siihen enään niin paljon mitä, vaikka tein pari vuottasitten. ( vähennän koko ajan) Nämä ovat tietysti itselleni sellaiset suuret moraaliset vaikuttajat ja syyt siihen, että en usko koskaan palaavani lihansyönnin pariin. Teurastusvideot ovat myös aika isossa osassa, mitä joskus kemian- ja bilsan tunneilla näytettiin. Jouduin menemään luokan ulkopuolelle kun ahdisti niin hirveästi… Sen verran mitä olen koulussa nähnyt ennen ,kun olen lähtenyt luokan ulkopulelle riitti mulle, se ei ollut kaunista katseltavaa…
En tiedä miksi, mutta minulle tulee nykyään todella huono olo ja pitää lähteä toiseen huoneeseen, jos joku vaikkapa poikaystäväni valmistaa lihaa paistinpannulla. Oli se sitten pekonia, sikaa tai nautaa.. Tosi outoa, tiedän! Ja ennen kun, joku teistä kysyy, että oletko raskaana? Niin vastaus siihen on että EN OLE raskaana.
